Last updated 26 September 2026. This policy covers THEC1LAB (trading as C1 Lab), the independent UK art print studio behind the THEC1LAB Etsy shop, and the tools we run for it, including the C1 Lab Pin Scheduler app that uses the Pinterest API.
C1 Lab Pin Scheduler (Pinterest)
The app is used only by C1 Lab, to publish Pins of our own artwork to our own Pinterest boards and to read the performance of those Pins. It is not offered to other Pinterest users.
It connects to a single Pinterest account, C1 Lab's own, through Pinterest's official OAuth sign-in. It never asks for or stores a Pinterest password.
The access token is stored encrypted in our private secrets manager on our own server. It is never published, shared, or put in source code.
It reads only what it needs: our boards, our Pins and their analytics. It does not collect, store or process data about other Pinterest users, their followers, or their content.
We do not sell, rent, or share any Pinterest data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
To disconnect the app, we revoke its access in Pinterest's settings and delete the stored token.
Etsy orders and certificates
When you buy from our Etsy shop, Etsy shares your name, email address and order details with us so we can deliver your order. We use them only to fulfil the order, email the numbered certificate and collector copy for limited editions, and answer your messages.
Certificates on our certificate page are stored under a one-way hash of the order number and first name. No names or email addresses are published.
Payments are handled entirely by Etsy. We never see your card details.
We keep order records only as long as we need them for fulfilment, certificate checks and UK tax records.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us through Etsy messages on our shop: etsy.com/shop/THEC1LAB. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
